This article about the Fremont Street Experience is from 1995, but has some fantastic pictures that really capture the essence of magnifigance the nightly light and sound shows exude. This project literally reversed the ten year decline of the downtown strip. There is nothing comparable to the 2.1 million lights and the 540,000-watt sound system.
